Recommending gifts

Support your preferred charitable causes by recommending gifts to them from your Gift Account.

To recommend a gift to a charity from your Gift Account, simply log in to My Gift Account and click Recommend a Gift. We will always follow your recommendations as a Gift Account holder, unless doing so would violate our policies.

We endeavour to process all gift recommendations within ten business days, however a gift may take longer to process if it:

• requires additional due diligence,

• is from a Gift Account managed by a financial adviser, or

• is for more than $25,000 NZD.

To keep your Gift Account active, recommend a gift at least every three years.

Gifts to unregistered, unincorporated, or international charitable causes generally require additional due diligence, which may attract a fee depending on the size and level of activity of your Gift Account.
